Barbara Smith Campbell is Principal  of Consensus LLC, a consulting firm providing strategic tax planning for businesses located or planning to locate in the State of Nevada. Prior to starting Consensus LLC, Ms. Campbell served as the Chairman of the Board of the Nevada Tax Commission and concurrently was Director of Finance for Mandalay Development, a subsidiary of Mandalay Resort Group, and post-merger was Vice President of Finance for MGM Grand Resorts Development, a general contractor for MGM Mirage. 

As member and Chairman of the Nevada Tax Commission, Ms. Campbell has a total of 20 years of state and local government tax expertise.  Ms. Campbell served for 5 consecutive terms.  She was first appointed by Governor Richard Bryan and subsequently by Governors Bob Miller and Kenny Guinn.  She was respected as a consensus builder and increased the utilization of internet and web based technology for the purpose of statewide access to the Department of Taxation workshops and proceedings...

Ms. Lavonne Lewis, a Senior Executive with over 35 years of experience, possesses expertise in all Management functional areas in diverse domestic and international environments. Presently Ms. Lewis is the Interim President and CEO for the Las Vegas Clark County Urban League where she uses her management expertise to lead the operations of this Community Action Agency. Ms. Johnstone has been the Executive Director for the Health Services Coalition since January 2010.  The Coalition is a nonprofit organization representing 23 different self-funded employer and labor trust health plans covering 270,000 lives in southern Nevada.  Immediately prior to joining the Coalition, she was with the State of Nevada Public Employees’ Benefits Program (PEBP).  As PEBP’s executive officer, she reported to a nine member Governor appointed board and directed the management of the State’s $448 million annual health benefits program covering 72,000 lives.  Prior to heading PEBP, she acted as the organization’s chief operating officer and accounting officer.  Between those two assignments Ms. Johnstone worked as a program analyst with the State of Nevada Legislative Counsel Bureau (LCB), Fiscal Division...

Mrs. Kerr is a partner with Kerr IP Group, LLC, and CFO for NexRf Corporation, a technology start-up based in Reno, Nevada.  She has been practicing law for fourteen years in the private and public sectors, and working with intellectual property issues since 1998. Her practice areas include intellectual property, unfair competition and transactional work. She has represented clients in numerous matters in federal and state courts, and before administrative tribunals and the USPTO, handling trials, appeals and law and motion hearings. 

Previously Mrs. Kerr worked for the Nevada Office of the Attorney General as a Senior Deputy Attorney General.  During her tenure with that office starting in 2001, she was the supervisory attorney responsible for all of Nevada's antitrust enforcement efforts, including several major pharmaceutical cases involving sham litigation under the Patent Act.  She has drafted regulations adopted by the Nevada Public Utilities Commission, as well as assisted in the preparation of bill draft requests.  She has additionally represented the state in numerous telecommunications and energy and natural gas cases, such as the El Paso Natural Gas Antitrust Litigation in 2003-2004...

Ronald Kline, M.D. is a board certified pediatric hematologistoncologist and pediatric bone marrow transplant physician. He has served on the board of trustees of the Clark County Medical Society since 2003 and was president in 2005-06. He was Secretary of the Nevada State Medical Association from 2006 to 2009, President-elect from 2009 to 2010 and currently serves as president of the NSMA.  He is also an alternate delegate from southern Nevada to the AMA House of Delegates as well as a member of the Nevada Board of Medical Examiners in the matter of the ambulatory surgery centers.  He has served on the board of the Southern Nevada Medical Industry Coalition since 2009.

He has been very active in the community-wide discussion about creating an academic medical center in Clark County, and chaired the advisory body to the Regent’s committee on the topic, as well as being a member of the selection committee for the UNR president in 2006...
